Who We Are

Founded in 2005, the Coastal Property Rights Alliance (CPRA) is an organization formed by a group of concerned property owners seeking to protect private property rights from unreasonable regulatory encroachment. Our members are property owners in coastal communities who have a shared vision of creating a fair balance between protecting our beaches and presserving our rights. We strive to bring common sense into developing property while protecting our environment.

Board of Directors

William F. Gallagher, President
Beth M. Durkee, Clerk

Robb Osinski, Past President (2006-2007)

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring the property owner's voice back into the regulation process. We recognize that one individual or a small group has limited ability to change these regulations, particularly on the state level. CPRA works for our members on both the state and local level to protect private property rights. We assist local groups who are trying to effect change. At the state level we develop relationships with powerful Legislators to lobby for action against extremist conservation/anti-growth legislation.
